A vicious anti-Israel commentary written by the Students for Palestinian Human Rights, McGill (SPHR) has been of grave concern to many in the Jewish Community. CILR, set to work on a rebuttal immediately after it came to our attention. Many attempts by CILR as well as CAEF to post a rebuttal in The McGill Daily have failed. Outreach to The McGill Daily’s commentary editor and managing director, and copied it to Suzanne Fortier, principal and vice-chancellor of the university, have been ignored. The rebuttal was initiated by CILR’s Co-Chair Irving Weisdorf and prepared by our highly authoritative Dr. David Nussbaum, in collaboration with Goldi Steiner Co-Chair of CILR. And assisted by CAEF’s Andria Spindel.

The reality is that the Jewish People’s rights to the land of Israel have been enshrined in international law since 1920, although given the bias shared by mainstream media and, unfortunately, many academics, this inconvenient reality has been under-reported if not silenced.
