The Antisemitism Toolbox Part 2: BUILDING BRIDGES OF PEACE March 22, 2021 at 7pm EDT Register here

Fresh off the Abraham Accords, it illustrates the growing acceptance among former enemies that Israel should be recognized among the nations of the world. Activists of many faiths will discuss how and why they became allies of Israel. They will also talk about “next step thinking”: the kinds of dialog and engagement that we should have with those willing to become allies. How will the normalization change interfaith relationships in the Middle East and in the West?

About our speakers:

Virag Gulyas: Founder of Almost Jewish, a pro-Israel organization that aims to change negative stereotypes of Jews and Israel, Gulyas is a digital communications strategist who studied Judaism at Touro College in Manhattan. A non-Jewish Hungarian, she feels a calling to correct the erroneous perceptions about Jews. Raheel Raza: President of Council for Muslims Facing Tomorrow, founding member of Muslim Reform Movement, and human rights activist. She authored Their Jihad, Not My Jihad: A Muslim Canadian Woman Speaks Out. She has spoken at universities across the US, and to parliaments of Israel, Sweden, Canada, and UK. She received Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for service to Canada. Rabbi Yehuda HaKohen: He is a West Bank Jewish organizer and educator. As a leader in the Vision movement, he works to empower students to become thought leaders and active participants in the current chapter of Jewish history. As a facilitator with Semitic Action, he organizes grassroots dialogue sessions for Palestinians and Israelis seeking to transcend competing one-sided narratives in favor of a more scientific analysis of the factors forcing both peoples into conflict.
