101 Years After the MANDATE FOR PALESTINE, ISRAEL MUST DECLARE YOM SAN REMO And Other Issues

Declaring Yom San Remo a National Holiday will be one giant step forward in Debunking the “Occupation” Lie and the insidious Apartheid accusation

On July 24, 2023, we will be commemorating the 101st anniversary of the MANDATE FOR PALESTINE: a mandate that was proclaimed and passed by the 52 nations that formed the League of Nations, later to become the United Nations. Nothing but lies and deceit about Israel have been shared since then.

It is time for Jews and Israel to reclaim our legal and historical rights to the land of Israel. Jews are Owners, not Occupiers.

WHY DECLARE YOM SAN REMO?

In April 25, 1920, the San Remo Resolution, a five-hundred-word document, which legally incorporated the Balfour Declaration of November 2, 1917:  and it is where the Mandate for Palestine was assigned to Britain.

“So, too, we declare our commitment to Jewish national rights and sovereignty in the ancestral and indigenous homeland of the Jewish People. In the spirit of the leaders throughout the generations, our signatures are testament to our commitment to the democratic State of Israel, the historic homeland of the Jewish people;”

It formally committed the League of Nations to the re-establishment of the Jewish homeland within the original Biblical and historical land of Israel, in the land mass of Palestine. Palestine was a geographical area of land renamed Palestine by the Romans, who merged Roman Syria with Roman Judea in the early Second Century CE -- incidentally long before the birth of Muhammed and the creation of Islam which would take place in Saudi Arabia.

The San Remo Resolution led to the granting of three Mandates (as defined in Article 22 of the 1919 Covenant of the League of Nations). It was the legal document covering the partitioning of the Ottoman Empire following WWI; a Muslim empire that had occupied much of Southeast Europe, Western Asia, and Northern Africa between the 14th and early 20th centuries.

The future states of Syria-Lebanon and Iraq would emerge from two of these Mandates and became exclusively Arab countries.   With the third Mandate, assigned to Great Britain to implement, the Supreme Council recognized the “historical connection of the Jewish people to Palestine and the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country” while safeguarding the “civil and religious rights” of the non-Jewish population.

With San Remo, the nation of Israel was reborn. A true nation:  a community of people established on the basis of a common and unique history, language, law, culture, ethnicity, religion and territory.

In the words of Lord Curzon, the British foreign secretary, the San Remo Resolution is: “Israel’s Magna Carta”

The San Remo Resolution was affirmed by the League of Nations (1922) and the United Nations in 1947, leading directly to the establishment of the modern State of Israel in 1948.

The Declaration of Yom San Remo as a special holiday is intended to educate and impress upon the entire world that the Jewish people are the indigenous people of Israel, a nation that welcomes and treats all people with equal respect.  Chaim Weizmann defined the San Remo Conference as the birth of the State of Israel, one of the most significant events in the history of Zionism Read more. The Second President of the United States of America, John Adams declared: “I really wish the Jews again in Judea an independent nation.” Read more.

Napoleon Was Right About The Jews: On August 16, 1800, Napoleon declared: “If I governed a nation of Jews, I should re-establish the Temple of Solomon." With the barrage of untruths emanating from Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas and his underlings, it is always a welcome and refreshing phenomenon when world leaders recognize and speak the truth about Israel and the Jews. Read the letter to the Jewish nation from Napoleon.

Why Is Education More Important Now Than Ever?

The Breakdown Of Education Is Where The Attack On Israel Began And Continues. Paraphrasing William F. Buckley, Jr.

I’d rather entrust education to the first 400 people listed in the Boston telephone directory than to the faculty of Harvard University.

Without educating our children about ISRAEL, the future is bleak. Education is the basis for everything. It is essential to Zionism, Judaism, Israel, our identity, and promoting Israel’s rights. Read more.

At Long Last -- Saying It As It Is!

Diaspora Affairs Minister, Amichai Chikli, declared that J Street is “a hostile organization that harms the interests of the State of Israel.” And that’s a fact. J Street consists of “Jews” who stand with the Iran nuclear deal, George Soros and the Woke Progressive left who abandoned the Jewish ethic of freedom long ago.

The Danger Of Losing A Large Segment Of Diaspora Jews. They Must Be Re-Educated.

The Reform movement must make adjustments or they will be finished in the not too far future. Their numbers are diminishing, and many of their congregants are not Jewish, half Jewish, or converted, and hostile to Israel. And many are Woke.

Is There Hope? At This Crucial Crossroads In Our History, It Is Imperative For All Jews, Israeli, and Diaspora To Bond together

Rabbi Ammiel Hirsch, the senior rabbi of the Wise Free Synagogue, is one of the Reform movement's most influential voices for Manhattan’s more than 300,000 Jews. He believes that even some of the Orthodox Jews have embraced changes that the Reform movement champions. The challenge, he says, is to sustain and deepen Jewish understanding and values, and to remain true to the centrality of the land of Israel. Read more.

The Enemy From Within Why do Yair Lapid, Ehud Barak, Ehud Olmert, etc. appease the enemy? To what End? Why Are They Against the Democratically Elected Government?

The opposition in Israel, headed by Yair Lapid, are fundamentally unwilling to accept the reality that the Israeli public elected a government that would include three religious parties and the largest parliamentary majority seen since an endless cycle of elections began some five years ago.

Their opposition appears to be more the result of their ambition than any honest concerns for Israel or Zionism. “Their opinions are merely tools for fulfilling their ambition” to regain power changingaccording to the political needs. Read more.

More About The Enemy Within

The Israeli Left Threatens Murder And Incites Civil War

Is the Light unto the Nations being hidden under a “Progressive” basket? Has Israel been taken over by the Progressive ideology that is anathema to the Jewish ethic?

The difference between the government and its voters on the one hand, and the rioters led by the likes of Barak, Baharav, Miara, Bressler, and Dagan on the other, is that the latter threaten to destroy the country to protect their privilege and prestige, while Netanyahu and his voters are determined to protect the country and keep it whole. Commitment to Israel’s survival places limits on what is possible. Read more.
