A few days ago everyone was doom & gloom about B&W aligning with the Joint (Cannabis?☺) List. Unexpectedly and suddenly, it completely flipped on its head. What changed? At least in part, the solidarity the people of Israel showed in their protests against that perfidy. As a religious person, I do believe that G-d works behind the scenes...but we have to do our part for events to turn out favorably. We can't sit on hands and expect to merit miracles. The video must have influenced many thousands of people with at least 250,000 views, some with multiple viewers, and who knows how many more since that counting. I wonder how much the video developed by Canadians for Israel's Legal Rights (CILR) in partnership with IMTIRZU facilitated this result. 250,000 views and a demonstration in front of the Supreme Court (on a different but related matter) likely got some B&W politicians thinking that this was no longer "business as usual" and their evil would not be tolerated. Just wondering. I note that today is Rosh Chodesh Nissan...our ancestors were saved in this month of Nissan from Egypt. Coincidence? This was certainly unforeseen and unsuspected. Now if we can be saved from COVID-19 in a similar manner...

Protesting Against the Supreme Court's Overreach
Yesterday, we organized a massive convoy of hundreds of Israeli flag-bearing cars in protest of the gross abuse of power by Israel's Supreme Court.
For all intents and purposes, the Supreme Court staged a bloodless coup and seized control of the Knesset by overstepping its mandate and unlawfully intervening in the Knesset agenda against the will of the (now former) Knesset Speaker, Yuli Edelstein.
This was done despite the Basic Law of the Knesset that clearly stipulates that the Knesset Speaker has the right to determine the Knesset's agenda.
This outrageous abuse of power is the latest in a long history of undemocratic political activism by Israel's Supreme Court, and we at Im Tirtzu will continue to stand up against it.
